LOVE, FAITH & STEWARDSHIP

“Verily, I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all that has been hidden is brought again into the light, for it is the epoch for the fulfillment of promise.”
Oracles of Celestine Light, Nexus 1:21

The Old and the New

CHAPTER 40

When Yeshua is questioned by the disciples of Yochanan as to why so many of the old ways and customs must change, he explains the significance of the new.

1 And it came to pass that the disciples of Yochanan came to understand and believe in the teachings of Yeshua as they continued to speak with Cephas and Amram, and on the following day, they agreed to gather their families and accompany Mattayah and his wife and children to Capernaum to become a part of the Family of Light.
2 But among the guests who had known Mattayah and came to his feast, none came unto the light at that time or desired to learn more of the teachings of Yeshua.
3 Before they departed, Hosea, who was the eldest among the three disciples of Yochanan, sought further enlightenment from Yeshua, saying, “Good teacher, everything you speak of and that we have heard from your disciples seems so new and different from all that our people have lived for generations upon generations. Perhaps we have strayed some, but is it really necessary to change so many traditions and introduce so many new doctrines and do away with so much of the old?”
4 Yeshua answered him, saying, “If you have new fermenting wine, do you put it into old bottles or new?”
5 “New,” Hosea answered.
6 “And why is that?” Yeshua asked.
7 Hosea gazed at him for a moment with a somewhat-curious look and then answered, “If you put new fermenting wine into an old wine skin, it will swell and burst the bottle and all the wine will be lost.”
8 And so it is with the Celestine Light of Elohim, which I bring,” Yeshua said unto him. “It cannot be merged with the ways of old, for they cannot bear its light, and in bursting both the new and the old, the good that had been gained would be lost.
9 For this cause, I have said that I have not come to uphold the law, but to destroy it. In that, the scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees fear, thinking I am trying to rip asunder that which they hold dear.
10 But the ways of old will remain, for it is better that men have some truth to live by than none at all.
11 Only a precious few will be able to understand and embrace the greater Celestine Light that I bring, and not all of them will bear it when they first learn of the new covenant I have brought.
12 Some will have to chew upon it, and ponder it, and pray about it, and speak with others to hear of the good and the bad that they might comment, even as few men having drunk old wine will straightaway desire new wine, for they will say to themselves that the old is better.
13 And it is only after they have been convinced by their pondering and praying that they will consider that perhaps this new wine is from a grape that has never been and is delicious beyond all that is aged.
14 Therefore, because I love the precious few who will dare to drink the new wine, I do not remake the old, but give them the new in all of its glory.
15 Seeking to repair the old would be to invite misery upon all, even as no man sews a piece of new cloth onto an old garment; else, the new piece that filled it up will take away from the old and the rent is made worse.
16 Most people are like the wheels of a cart in a rut worn deep; they are comfortable in their rut even if it does not bring them to the most wonderful places, and they would protest in anger and violence should someone try to move the cart.
17 But those who are Children of Light do not feel comfort in the rut, but imprisoned. When they see the new path I make before them, they see freedom, and a new cord pulls upon their heart, calling them home to a Celestine glory beyond.”
18 And it came to pass that at the request of Yeshua, Mattayah took his family to Capernaum, and Philip the disciple went with them that he might introduce them to the members of the community and to help them get settled.
19 And the three disciples of Yochanan and their families also came with them.
20 Before they left, Philip inquired of Yeshua as to what was to be done with the Passover that was coming in the next days, for Yeshua and most of the disciples would be away from their families if they did not return to the Communities of Light on Lake Gennesaret.
21 Calling all of the disciples to him, including Miriam and Mattayah and the disciples of Yochanan, Yeshua answered Philip, saying, “If there are those among the Communities of Light that wish to keep the Passover, then let them keep it as they will.
22 But you are no longer that people, nor are any who come among us from whatever tribe or race or religion, who they once were.
23 You have been given the greater Celestine Light of Elohim and that which is old has been laid in the grave.
24 Though the time has already passed this spring, henceforth let the Children of Light celebrate the seasons of the Earth, which Elohim has given for the joy and abundance of man. (a)
25 Let there be celebrations on the day of greatest light and the day of longest night and upon the days twice each year, when the day and the night are equal.
26 Let the spring celebrate renewal.
27 Let the summer celebrate life.
28 Let the fall celebrate abundance.
29 Let the winter celebrate the light of Elohim, which pierces the darkest night.
30 Let these be special times of the year when you fast and pray as you deem best and make special efforts to touch the light of Elohim in your heart and soul and become greater than you are.
31 Do not become as the people of the world who have holidays or special religious requirements many days in each month.
32 These four times of celebration are sufficient for the Children of Light and will have more significance in your lives if they are not cluttered among numerous celebrations.
33 Make these days and the days leading up to them very special, and they shall carry you to higher and higher heights every year of your life upon the Earth.”

(a) Celestines celebrate four seasonal holidays during the times of the year Yeshua specified. These are:

Spring Equinox: Excelsior: Celebration of Renewal
Summer Solstice: Vitalta: Celebration of Life
Fall Equinox: Majakpler: Celebration of Abundance
Winter Solstice: Luminaire: Celebration of Light
