LOVE, FAITH & STEWARDSHIP

“Verily, I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away until all that has been hidden is brought again into the light, for it is the epoch for the fulfillment of promise.”
Oracles of Celestine Light, Nexus 1:21

Yeshua Walks on the Sea

CHAPTER 83

During a full moon preceding the trip to Jerusalem Cephas and a group of fishermen went out on the lake to catch fish to provide the community members who are staying behind with a good supply. A sudden storm comes upon them and as they pray for deliverance Yeshua comes to them, walking upon the sea. Cephas falls into the water and Yeshua pulls him up so he is standing on top of the water.

And it came to pass that preparations were made by Yeshua and his family, and the Apostles and their families, and many of the Children of Light of the communities to embark upon an extended journey with Yeshua to Jerusalem.
Miriam and Martha spoke happily together about seeing their family in Bethany again and affording their children the opportunity to mingle with their many cousins.
Only Salome seemed sad at the thought of returning to Jerusalem. Miriam seeing her sitting forlornly leaned over and embraced her, “Little sister of the great light, why are you hiding your glory today?”
Salome reached up and held onto Miriam’s forearm and smiling meekly said unto her, “You and Martha seem so happy to be returning to be among your family in Bethany, and I am happy for you, but it also reminds me of how alone I am.
I love my life here with you, but I think it will be difficult to see the palaces of Jerusalem and not be sad for some of the things I have lost.”
Miriam nodded in understanding, “In your thoughts, remember that you only lost those who did not love you, while gaining many who will love you beyond time.
You lost the life of a puppet who could make no choice of her own of consequence, and gained a life of self-worth where everyday, every choice in your life is yours and yours alone.
You lost a life surrounded by those in darkness and gained a life surrounded by those in light, even to becoming a wife of the Lord of Light himself.
Of course, you lost the excitement of court with lofty visitors from afar and elaborate entertainments and foods, but you have gained a life of greater worth, in a community of loving light, which grows each day with honest, humble and interesting people from distant places that can become true friends.
And though there may be some things here that are less exciting than the courts of Jerusalem, where else besides this place with your family of light will you regularly see mighty miracles beyond the understanding of the people of the world?”
Miriam cupped her hand around the back of Salome’s neck and kneeling down beside her she said, “There is no joy Martha or I will share with our family in Bethany that shall not also be your joy. You are a part of us, yesterday, today and forever. When you are tinged by sadness, reach out and feel the beat of my heart, and the joy I know, and you shall also know it, for we are one.”
Salome laid her head upon Miriam’s shoulder, and simply said, “Thank you.”

Walking on Water in a Storm at Sea
There was a full moon the few days preceding the departure for Jerusalem and for three nights, Cephas, Yohannan, Amram and Yakov went fishing on the lake in two boats along with four crewmen from the communities on each boat, to catch a good supply of fish for those in the communities that would remain behind.
On the third night a sudden storm came upon them and they lost all bearings of the land and stars. They lashed their boats together so they would not be separated in the dark ferocity of the storm and as one prayed to Elohim for deliverance.
And it came to pass that Yeshua heard their pleas and he came to them walking on the water which was becalmed before him, even while the storm continued to rage all around.
Seeing him coming through the waves and mists and darkness, their joy was full and they called out to him and beckoned him to hurry.
Coming up next to the boat he stood upon the surface of the water and said unto them, “You are certainly most diligent fishermen to come out even in the darkness of the night to provide for your brothers and sisters. I thought you were in need, but it seems that all is well.”
“No! Everything is not well!” Cephas shouted above the whistling wind. “Our boats are full of fish and awash with water, so much so that we must either throw our fish overboard or sink. We had even begun to do it as you appeared. Therefore, rebuke this storm if you will, lest we lose all the good we have gained for our communities.”
As he spoke the boats slid down into a large wave trough and coming up a great wave burst through the prows and over the boats drenching everyone in a heavy wall of water. Even Yeshua, still standing beside the boat on the water was covered and soaked by the huge wave, but he seemed not to mind.
“It is you who should rebuke the wave Cephas,” answered Yeshua. “You and your brethren, for I will not long be among you, but storms of all types you will still continually have to contend with.”
“We have tried,” Cephas yelled above the howl of the wind. Before he could say more, another big wave crashed over them and he was thrown out of the boat and into the sea because his attention had been diverted as he spoke to Yeshua.
He surfaced nearby and Yeshua calmly walked over to him and reaching down into the water he grabbed him by his forearm and pulled him upright so that Cephas also now also stood upon the water and did not sink.
“How marvelous!” Cephas exclaimed. “Would that I could do this on my own,” he said wistfully.
“No man can walk upon the water on his own, Cephas,” Yeshua answered; only a man who walks with Elohim. But you are certainly a man of the Celestine Light, therefore, as you ask and have faith and love, and a passion to do this, expand your strong aura, so shall it be.” And with those words, he let go of Cephas’ hand.
For a moment Cephas stood upon the water on his own and the joy on his face was like a child in wonder when he realized that he was standing upon the water, even though Yeshua touched him not.
He turned to look at his brethren in the boat, but no sooner had he begun to say “Look at me,” than he began to sink because of his pride, whereas his humility would have upheld him.
Quickly he was awash to his waist again in the angry sea, and Yeshua once more reached over to rescue him and pulled him up onto the surface. Together they then stepped over to Cephas’ boat and entered into it.
Yeshua held up his arms and looking to the sky and the sea shouted “Cease!” and immediately the storm ended and the waters of the sea quickly calmed.
One of the crew members, who was a fairly new member of the Communities of Light, looked at Yeshua with awe and said, “Who is our Yeshua that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Cephas, standing beside him and hearing his question, answered with reverence in his voice, “He is the wind and the sea.”
Three days later, and two days after the Sabbath, all the Children of Light from the four communities gathered near Yeshua’s house in Capernaum at sunrise, as he prepared to depart on his journey to Jerusalem.
There were many who had packed to accompany him. And a large number of those were bringing all of their children.
There were also many new faces in the multitude as the Communities of Light had continued to grow rapidly in the last year as Children of Light from lands near and far had heard the small voice inside and followed its light to this place.
Yeshua then went out among the multitude and touched and spoke to each one of them, especially to every child. And there was not even one whom he did not touch or speak to.
When he was finished he began to walk on the road leading south toward Tiberias, with Miriam on his right, holding his hand, and Salome on her right, holding her other hand. Martha and all of their children and Yeshua’s mother Miryam followed closely behind, and then came the Apostles and their families, and then many of the Children of Light and their families.
