CHAPTER 55

Yeshua brings a young man back to life whose body is being carried in a funeral procession to be buried. Word about the miracle quickly circulates, and many people crowd around Yeshua and his Apostles but he disappears. Miriam tells the Apostles that he teleported to a nearby mountain and waits for them, which he communicated to her telepathically. When they reach Yeshua, he and Miriam teach the Apostles and Salome how to communicate telepathically.

 1 And it came to pass that Yeshua and his Apostles journeyed throughout Galilee for a time, and Yeshua did many miracles, but not as many as people desired, for he only healed those who had a humble and repentant heart.

 2 In every town and village, Yeshua preached the Celestine Light of Elohim, but few there were who listened to his words with real intent, because he admonished them to live a lifestyle to which they were not accustomed and put the responsibility for their lives and their eternities solely upon their own choices, which was a most disagreeable doctrine for many.

 3 And it came to pass that Yeshua and his Apostles entered into the city called Nain.

 4 As they came near to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man being carried out on a bier, followed by a woman wailing in deepest grief. And much of the city followed her, for she was a widow and mourned the death of her only son, who had been much admired by many.

 5 When Yeshua saw her, he was so touched in his heart by the depth of her love and loss that he had compassion and came up to her and said unto her, “Weep not, for your son has only fallen into a deep sleep and needs but to be awakened.”

 6 At his words, the woman paused in her wailing, even though she continued to weep softly. For though she knew her son was dead, she still clung with a mother’s love to the hope in the words of Yeshua.

 7 But many of the men of the town who followed behind her and those who carried the bier were very angry at Yeshua, a stranger, for interfering in the funeral and giving the widow false hope, and they prepared to come upon him and cast him away from the gates of the city.

 8 But ere they could lay their hands upon him, he came up to the bier, parting through those that held it, and using the palm of his right hand, he strongly struck the chest of the dead man, commanding, “Arise!”

 9 With this astounding affront, the men who had come to lay their hands upon him stopped in their tracks, shocked at his audacity and irreverence for the dead.

 10 Ere they came out of their shock enough to attack Yeshua, the young man in the bier called out in a loud voice, “Mother!” And he who had been dead sat up, and seeing his mother, he cried out, “I am your son.”

 11 The young man slid off the bier and stood up, and his mother came to him and embraced him with torrents of tears, but now they were tears of joy.

 12 Then there came a fear upon those who were present, and their eyes were wide with amazement and their mouths open in disbelief. With one accord, they fell to their knees and glorified Elohim. Many were heard to speak in awe of the great prophet that walked among them. Others gave thanks that Elohim had not forgotten his people.

 13 And the word of what Yeshua did that day quickly spread forth all across Galilee and Samaria and Judea and beyond, for it was as great a miracle as any could imagine.

 14 So thick then was the enthusiastic crowd that pressed upon Yeshua after he returned the deceased young man to life that it was all the Apostles could do to stay close to him and keep him from being trampled.

 15 While he was thus surrounded by the multitude from Nain, he suddenly vanished and was no longer among them. The people, seeing he was gone, looked all about them to discover where he had slipped off to, but none could find him, not even his Apostles.

 16 Shortly afterward, not discovering Yeshua anywhere and seeing his own Apostles at a loss to his whereabouts, the people of Nain dispersed and returned to their homes.

 17 After they had departed, the Apostles spoke anxiously among themselves, for in actuality, none knew what had become of Yeshua.

 18 Then Miriam came among them and said calmly, “He is not here, but upon the mountain to the east of the city. Follow me, for he waits for us there.”

 19 As they walked toward the mountain, Cephas came to Miriam and asked, “Miriam, how is it that you know where Yeshua went to, but that no other saw him slip away from the multitude? Did he speak to you and no other heard or give you a sign?”

 20 The other Apostles had been listening, and they leaned in to hear Miriam’s reply. “No, Cephas,” Miriam answered. “He did not speak to me or give me a sign. For a moment, I was as baffled as you as to where he had gone.”

 21 Cephas looked perplexed, but inquired in earnestness, “How is it then that you know he is on the mountain, and how is it that he could be one moment in the city and the next moment upon the mountain?”

 22 “Oh, Cephas,” she exclaimed, “Surely you know by now that nothing is impossible to Yeshua. To be one moment in the city and the next on the mountain is as simple as breathing to him, for all he needs do is think it, and so it is.

 23 As for how I know where he is, he speaks to me in my head with words of silence that only I can hear.”

 24 Cephas was intrigued by this and inquired, “Is it because you are husband and wife that this is possible? For never have I heard his voice in my mind or heard of any others who have.”

 25 The other Apostles overhearing the conversation spoke quickly among themselves, and each affirmed that they had never heard Yeshua speak to them silently in their head.

 26 Miriam answered him, saying, “We have spent much time together, and our essence is in peaceful and familiar harmony one with another. It was years ago that I first heard his voice in my mind, and now it is often that we speak this way to one another, he to me and me to him.

 27 We have spoken of this gift, and Yeshua has said that the ability to speak to one another in silence, with words in the head that no others can hear, is not unique to us, but is a gift of Celestine Light to all the Children of Light who love one another with a pure love, especially among husbands and wives.

 28 The day will come when Yeshua no longer walks among us. He will always be in our hearts, but never forget he will also still live in the Celestine Realms, watching over us. And for those who love him with a pure love, his words will come clearly into their heads, and you and the other Children of Light will be able to converse with him as easily as you do with one another so much so that it will seem as if he is still among us.”

 29 Cephas and the Apostles were amazed at the words of Miriam, and Yohhanan asked, “How is it that Yeshua has never told us of this gift before?”

 30 And Miriam replied to him, “We all learn a great deal of wonderful things from Yeshua each day. But for all things, there is a time and a season. Until this day, it was not the time for you to know of this power of the Celestine Light because you were not yet prepared by your knowledge and experiences to receive it.

 31 But now that it is revealed, it is the time, for you have prepared yourself in the lesser things and are now ready to receive a greater thing.”

 32 Later, they came upon Yeshua praying on the mountain, and they spoke to him in excitement to discover how they might speak in their minds with him as he and Miriam did.

 33 For the remainder of the day therefore, he taught them how to listen in their minds and how to project their thoughts and focus them upon just one person or more than one if desired.

 34 Though none of the Apostles succeeded at hearing him or each other, they continued to practice with enthusiasm that day and the next and many that followed, until this was a gift they all were able to use, with varying degrees of success.

 35 And Miriam taught the gift to Salome, and she alone mastered it that first day and thereafter could always speak in privacy with Miriam and Yeshua, even when surrounded by many people.

 36 Later, when Yeshua and the Apostles returned to the Communities of Light, the Apostles began to teach the secrets of the silent talk as it came to be known to all the Children of Light when they were ready to receive it.
